The Expansion Era (AD 1411 —), also referred to as the Era of Expansion, was a period in history that marked the beginning of territorial expansion between major Higashi powers. The boundaries of the nations by the end of the era at least a century later were, for the most part, the boundaries that remained in the modern age.

It is not certain which nation of the Higashi continent was to the first to start colonizing the regions around its respective territory. The Kureman Empire was among the first to begin doing so, for the purpose of obtaining more suitable farmland for growing crops according to their surviving records. Malamig and the Sarratian Empire also expanded their territory at this time.
